A POLITICIAN has challenged former US President George W. Bush to undergo waterboarding, offering to donate $US100 to charity for every second he can endure. Democrat Rod Driver also sent letters challenging former Vice President Dick Cheney and ex-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to undergo the practice, which the Bush administration has denied is a form of torture.Mr Driver, a State representative from Rhode Island, told The Westerly Sun that those who condoned the practice - which simulates drowning - should undergo it themselves."If anyone did that to me, I'd confess to the attacks on 9/11, the sinking of Lusitania (in 1915), or anything else they want to hear to get them to stop," Mr Driver said.
